MUZAFFARGARH: Social Security Hospital Medical Superintendent (MS) Dr Mubashar today lodged an application with City Police Station for registering a case, against Member of National Assembly (MNA) Jamshed Dasti and others for allegedly attacking the hospital.

Dr Mubashir, in his application, alleged that Dasti and his 25 accomplices on Tuesday forcefully shut down the hospital, besides throwing him (MS) out of office.

Former member of provincial assembly Mehr Irshad Siyal was also nominated among the accused.

It may be noted that the hospital staff on Tuesday protested against shortage of medics. MNA Dasti along with some people visited the hospital to show solidarity with the protestors.

Meanwhile, a police contingent has been deployed on the hospital premises to counter any untoward incident.
