PESHAWAR - Pakistan People’s Party-Sherpao, Chairman, Aftab Ahmad Khan Sherpao has demanded of the government to tell the nation about what it got by reopening the Nato supplies. In a statement issued here Thursday, he said Pakistan had been isolated due to weak foreign policy of the govt. He said that decisions were being made on ad-hoc basis or either under pressure. “It is due to this unclear and ambiguous foreign policy that Pakistan is not enjoying good relation even with its neighbouring countries,” he said. He said it seemed that the country was being run without a foreign policy. He asked the govt to formulate an effective and strong foreign policy that could guarantee the national interests and sovereignty. He asked the govt to protect interests of Pakhtuns on both sides of Durand Line, otherwise PPP-S would not tolerate it. PPP-S chairman said that government was unserious to resolve the major issues being faced by the country, which he claimed, resulted in weak internal and foreign policies. He said the PPP-S had warned the government time and again to devise a policy before Nato withdrawal from Afghanistan to deal affectively with post withdrawal situation, but unfortunately no step had so far been taken in this regard.
