Can’t take legal action against Imran Khan, only pray for payment: DJ Butt

Lahore: DJ Butt who gave life to Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) rallies and last year’s sit in claims, he is owed Rs80 million by the party.

According to DJ Butt the PTI racked up a bill of Rs140 million, during the Islamabad sit in of which he had been paid Rs59 million. DJ Butt claims he had a daily agreement which started off at Rs680,000 with the PTI, during the Islamabad sit-in. “This daily agreement was to cover costs of arrangements and was reduced.”  The DJ said he is facing financial difficulties, due to non-payment of his dues by PTI.

DJ Butt told a TV channel that a committee had been formed by the PTI, which demanded details for his expenses. “Details were provided to the committee three months ago.”  The DJ emphasized that he will not take legal action against PTI Chairman Imran Khan and can only pray to God for his payment. “PTI leader Naeem-ul-Haq has assured me that dues will be cleared,” he added.
