Lahore: The Technical Education and Vocational Training Authority (TEVTA) will send 1000 skilled labourers to the United Arab Emirates after Eid. A meeting was held in Lahore today to review the arrangements with Chairperson TEVTA Irfan Qaiser Shaikh.
Shaikh said that the TEVTA has launched a foreign placement desk to select the candidates through one window operation by assisting the pass-outs of TEVTA institutes in acquiring jobs abroad.
He said that the TEVTA will also facilitate the skilled labourers during the selection procedure and traveling arrangements. Skilled labourers play an important role in the development of the country, he added.
