Complainant found abductor of daughter

SARGODHA - A police investigation found that the complainant, who is also father of one of the two seminary students who went missing on April 22, 2012, himself abducted the girls for extorting money at Bhera. During preliminary interrogation, the accused admitted that they had planned to blackmail the seminary administrator to extort money. According to the police sources, cousins Aalia, 13, daughter of Abdul Ghaffar and Naeema, 8, daughter of Muhammad Saleem, the complainant, were getting religious education in a boarding seminary namely Madrassa Jamia Ayesha Siddiqia being administered by Moulana Hafeezur Rehman. The girls had gone mysteriously missing from the seminary.District Police Officer Dr Muhammad Rizwan constituted a police team headed by ASP/SDPO Bhalwal Irfan Tariq. On June 5, the police smelt a rat and quizzed the complainant and disclosed that he himself with the help of two accomplices had abducted the girls. The police party acting on a clue conducted raids in Millat Colony Jhang and Satellite Town Sargodha and arrested captors Muhammad Shafiq and Muhammad Irshad when they were shifting the girls to somewhere else.
