They vowed to take the murder case to its logical end without doing any compromise with anyone in this regard. The lawyers also offered Fateha for the eternal peace of the deceased. They demanded submission of complete challan of case before the court within a stipulated period of 15 days. They said that the lawyers will continue their boycott of the courts in Gujranwala Division till the submission of challan of the case.
The DBA president said that the lawyers from Gujranwala Division also unanimously passed several resolutions at Sialkot DBA convention, demanding day by day trial of the case. He also demanded early establishment of a monument at the spot where the lawyers were shot dead in Daska city here.
Meanwhile, addressing a press conference at Civil Club Daska, acting president of Daska Bar Association Nabi Ahmed Bajwa condemned the burning of the Daska TMA offices during the protest after Daska based lawyers' killing.
He said that no lawyer was involved in setting TMA Daska office ablaze. He alleged that the officials of Daska TMA themselves set it ablaze as in the office the record of development schemes was kept. He said that the TMA officials burnt that office to conceal the proof of their alleged financial embezzlement and frauds.
