DASKA - The Daska Saddr Police claimed to have solved the mystery of two months old blind murder case and arrested two kidnappers-cum-rapists accused identified as Asif alias Kuku and Arham alias Honey.
District Police Officer (DPO) Syed Ali Mohsin told the newsmen here on Monday that both the accused had kidnapped village Bharokey Khurd-Daska based farmer Muhammad Tufail’s wife Shabana Kausar (32) for ransom and had killed her after raping her. The accused in fact committed the crime upon failure to get desired ransom for her release on January 15,2012 (two months ago). They threw her dead body packed in a sack at a trash heap to conceal their sin.
The DPO said that the police had used scientific methods of investigation and arrested both of the accused, solving the two months old blind murder case.
