ANP to be voted into power again: Hoti

PESHAWAR - Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Ameer Haider Khan Hoti has said that Awami National Party will contest the upcoming general elections on the basis of the brilliant performance and unprecedented developmental schemes of the incumbent provincial government and will again come into power with an overwhelming majority.
He expressed these views while addressing as chief guest at a function held here on Tuesday in which hundreds of people of KP-23 Mardan having different political affiliations announced to join Awami National Party.
The Chief Minister, on behalf of the party leadership, welcomed the new comers to the party and said that the popularity graph of ANP was increasing day by day owing to the public welfare oriented policies of the present provincial government.
The Chief Minister said that during the last five years there had been a tremendous development in the province that could not have been possible during the last sixty years. “I have left no stone unturned to come upto the expectations of the people and put the province on the path of progress despite the facts that circumstances of the province were worse than ever,” the Chief Minister said.
He said that Mardan was deliberately kept backward and deprived in the past, and he has made all possible efforts to put an end to this backwardness and bring the area at par with other developed areas of the province but still there is a lot to be done and he will continue this journey of developing the area in future as well.
Touching upon the development of rest of the province, the Chief Minister said that all the districts of the province have been treated equally in terms of developmental projects, adding that he is fully satisfied that no discrimination has been made with any area of the province in this regard.
He has served all the areas of the province keeping aside his political affiliation, the chief minister maintained.
He said that he has tried his level best to discharge the huge responsibility of leading the province assigned to him by the party and has put the province on the track of progress and prosperity.
The function was also attended by the district president ANP, Mardan Farooq Akram Khan, President KP-23 Mardan Shah Nawaz Khan and other party leaders.
Muhammad Sher, Khan Razaq, Naveed Khan, Wali Khan, Kamran, Qaiser Rehman, Mohammad Elias, Sanaullah, Alam Sher, Sultan Mahmood Qaiser, Arsahd Mehmood, Shahid Ali of KP-23 Mardan were amongst the hundreds of workers of different political parties who announced to join the ANP.
