QUETTA - In an effort to tighten noose around the anti-state elements, the security agencies killed 323 terrorists and detained 12,234 suspects in Balochistan in 2015, a home ministry report revealed yesterday.
The home ministry report said that 2,593 intelligence-based joint operations were conducted across the province. Frontier Constabulary (FC), police and Levies Force participated in the raids. As many as 323 terrorists belonging to various banned organisations were killed and more than 12,234 suspects were arrested in the operations.
The law enforcement personnel also recovered 3,763 light and heavy weapons and confiscated 248,327 rounds during the raids.
The home ministry announced that action against anti-state elements would continue under the National Action Plan (NAP).
