Lahore- Gullu Butt today challenged anti-terrorism court`s (ATC) decision regarding his imprisonment in the Lahore High Court (LHC).
In the appeal filed by Advocate Kashif Zaidi, it was stated that the ATC had announced its verdict on contrary to the facts in the Model Town vandalism case.
It was further mentioned that any of the affected party had neither filed any complaint nor gave any testimonial before the court. Under the law, the court cannot sentence the suspect without testimonial of the affected party.
Despite this, the trial court on police officials’ testimonial, sentenced Gullu Butt to eleven years and three months in prison, he added.
