Imran announces ‘Raiwind march’ on Sept 24

Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf Chairman Imran Khan Tuesday said that his party will have no option but to take to streets if the “masses were not given justice”.

Addressing a rally in Karachi to mark the country’s Defence Day, the PTI chief said he decided to visit the metropolis after listening to Altaf Hussain’s anti-Pakistan tirade.

“Karachi is the financial hub of Pakistan. If Karachi isn't at peace, the whole country isn't at peace,” Imran told his supporters.

Recalling the events of 1965, the PTI chief said, “I still remember the war of 1965. I still remember the unity of this nation.”

Imran Khan also questioned the federal government’s stance on Panama Papers. “What can be more serious than our PM being named among eight leaders who have companies in Panama?”

The PTI chairman also announced he will march to Raiwind on September 24. “Nawaz Sharif, take note. We won't be your slaves. I'll bring the whole nation to your doorstep,” he said.

“I will bring the whole nation to Raiwind so that you, Nawaz Sharif, will be answerable.”
