HYDERABAD - Prime Minister Syed Yousuf Raza Gilani has expressed concern over the Karachi situation on Friday, saying the Centre will help Sindh government in maintaining peace in the city, reported a private TV channel.Talking to media persons here, the PM said “We want to compensate Balochistan as the province has suffered a lot.”The prime minister also said Husain Haqqani should get the facilities that Mansoor Ijaz has got, he said. Commenting on Hafiz Saeed issue, the premier said it was an internal matter of the country. Action can be taken against him if solid evidence is there, Gilani said. PM came to Hyderabad to attend the marriage ceremony of Federal Minister Moula Bux Chandio’s son.Staff Reporter from Islamabad adds: President of PML-Q Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain and Senior Minister Chaudhry Pervez Elahi called on Prime Minister Syed Yusuf Raza Gilani at PM’s House on Friday and discussed the political situation of the country.Shujaat said that his party would continue its support as one of the coalition partners as per their commitment to the cause of democracy, rule of law and the federation.He assured the Prime Minister that his party would formulate a joint strategy with the coalition partners because it is so important for the continuation of political process, which is linked with political stability for ushering in an era of peace and economic prosperity of the people of Pakistan. The Prime Minister appreciated the continuous support of PML-Q for strengthening the democratic dispensation in the country adding that the PPP leadership values their cooperation as it is in accordance with the government’s policy of reconciliation.
