QUETTA - The chief of Balochistan National Party (BNP-Mengal) and former Balochistan chief minister Sardar Akthar Mengal will reach Quetta on Sunday (today).Sardar Akthar Mengal is visiting Quetta after about four years as he remained abroad on self-exile. However, he ended his self-exile and landed in Karachi in the last week of March and later announced to take part in the upcoming general elections.BNP-Mengal leader will reach Quetta on Sunday from Karachi and then he will address a public gathering at Quetta’s Hockey Stadium. As per a press release issued by the party, all arrangements in this connection have been finalised. It may be recalled here that Sardar Mengal had announced a long march in 2006 against alleged military operation in Balochistan and enforced disappearance of Baloch political workers. He was incarcerated in the regime of General (r) Pervez Musharraf and also boycotted the elections in 2008 and had left the country for his treatment abroad.
