GCUF declares BA/BSc results

FAISALABAD
The Government College University Faisalabad has announced the results of BA/BSc (Composite) examinations 2013 with the passing percentage of 49.45 percent.
As per detail, in BA, as many as 5,967 students appeared in the examination of which 2,925 students were declared passed. Similarly in BSc, 680 students appeared in the examination out of which 362 students passed the examination.
Overall top positions in BA and BSc was bagged by Muhammad Ammar from the Govt Postgraduate College Samundri who secured 628 out of 800 marks whereas Iqra Ghaffar from Govt College for Women Samundri stood second with 625 marks and Ayesha Khushnood from Govt College for Women Dajkot got the third position with 625 marks.
In the BA, top position was clinched by Ayesha Khushnood from Govt College for Women Dajkot with 625 marks, second position was bagged by Rubina Ahmad from Govt College for Women Tandliawala with 611 marks and Maria Liaqat from GC for Women Dajkot with 609 marks.
In the BSc, top position was secured by Muhammad Ammar from the Govt Postgraduate College Samundri with 628 marks whereas Iqra Ghaffar from GC for Women Samundri stood second with 625 marks and Rafaqat Ali from TI College Chenab Nagar, Disst Chinnot got the third position with 621 marks Overall, the passing percentage of female students stood at 58.31 percent whereas for boys, it was 33.75 percent.
Power pilferers nicked:
The Fesco team caught red handed two power pilferers here in village Chak 190/GB. The Rajana Police have registered a case against them.
As per details, Fesco SDO Irshad Ahmad Memon and his staff raided and caught both the accused namely Muhammad Ali and Muhammad Ahsan stealing power directly from pole to their houses.
Meanwhile, the Pirmahal Police arrested two owners of poultry farm in Chak 663/4 GB for spreading infection through bad smell of their farm.
The villagers had protested that Shafiq and Rafiq had been pumping out bad smell of their farms towards the village.
