SARGODHA-A food authority team recovered 320 kilograms of stale meat hidden in the toilet of the butcher's house. It was to be supplied to hotels and food shops in the city. On a tip off, the team headed by veterinary doctor Syed Asif Shah and SHO Irfan Tariq of Sajjid Shaheed police conducted the raid at the house in Millat Abad locality. The raiding team seized stale and smelly beef meat which had been hidden in the filthy wash room. Besides, unwholesome ghee made from animals fat was also recovered. Police held two accused identified as Tariq and his servant.

During the raid, the accused person's family members offered resistance and pelted over the raiding team and also shouted slogans against the police. The police filed a case against accused persons according to the law.
