LAHORE: A hand grenade shell was found from Ghalib Market in Lahore on Wednesday.

Police and bomb disposal squad reached the spot and took the grenade into custody.

According to Superintendent of Police (SP) Model Town Ismaeel Kharak, an empty grenade shell was found from garbage pile in Ghalib market’s area Gurumangat.

Bomb disposal squad declared the bomb ineffective.

The police have started their investigation after recording statements from eye witnesses and said that they would trace the source of bomb with the help of CCTV cameras.
