3 killed in Balochistan violence

QUETTA - Three people were gunned down in separate incidents of violence in Quetta and Chaman, on Wednesday while police recovered one kidnapped resident of Sindh in Dera Murad Jamali.
Unidentified armed men riding a motorbike opened firing at Eastern Bypass area of Quetta,killing one Muhammad Jaffar.
Separately, armed men shot dead a person in Killi Kamalu near Mir Ghahi Khan Chowk in Sariab locality of Quetta. The deceased was identified as Muhammad Tahir.
Police shifted both the bodies to hospital for medico-legal formalities and later handed over them to heirs for burial.
However, motive behind the murders in both the incidents is yet to be known.
A large number of relatives of Muhammad Tahir gathered outside Quetta Press Club and held a demo to condemn the killing.
They strongly criticised the administration and said that incidents of targeted killing were increasing but no action was being taken against culprits and demanded for immediate arrest of the culprits.
In another incident, a man identified as Niamatullah was killed in an armed clash between two groups at Rehman Kawal Road Chaman.
Levies personnel shifted the body to hospital for autopsy and later handed over the body to heirs.
Levies Force has started investigation into the murder.
Meanwhile, police recovered one abducted person from Dera Murad Jamali who was kidnapped from Sindh.
SP Farooq Ahmed told media persons in Dera Murad Jamali that police on a tip-off raided Goth Muhammad Azam Rindh and recovered kidnapped Asghar Ali. He said that Asghar Ali was kidnapped for ransom from Sindh and was brought to Balochistan.
