Dense fog hits Rawalpindi and Islamabad

Islamabad- Dense fog has hit Islamabad and Rawalpindi, affecting traffic and flight operations in twin cities.
According to Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD), dense foggy conditions would continue in plain areas of Punjab, Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and upper Sindh during night and morning hours.
PMD said the foggy conditions may affect flight operation from Lahore, Sialkot, Multan, Faisalabad airports and flow of traffic on Motorway (Lahore to Pindi Bhattian sector) during the next couple of days. The weather will remain cold and dry weather is expected in most parts of the country, the PMD said.
