At least nine people, including 4 children have been killed and 30 others were injured on Thursday as bomb went off outside a Madrasah (seminary) at Saryab road near Balochistan University in Quetta, officials said. Police said the blast took place outside Jamia Miftahul Uloom followed by intensive aerial firing. The dead and injured were shifted to nearby hospitals. The students were taken out from the seminary following the blast handed over to their parents, who rushed to the spot after blast occurred. Police said a religious ceremony was to be held in the Medrassah and it might be the target of terrorists. Police said bomb was planted at a bicycle parked outside of the seminary however bomb disposal squad did not confirm the nature of the blast so far. Police and FC personnel rushed to the spot and cordoned off the area.  Hospital sources said that 15 injured were in critical condition.
