Wajid resigns as HC to Britain

LONDON - Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain Wajid Shamsul Hasan resigned from his post on Thursday, reported a private TV channel.  Wajid had been serving as the High Commissioner since June 2008 and had succeeded Dr Maleeha Lodhi. He has a postgraduate degree in international relations and had worked as a journalist for several years. His first term as Pakistan’s High Commissioner to Britain was in 1994 relinquishing his post in 1996.
