ANP leader passes away

KARACHI Senior politician and Provincial Secretary General of Awami National Party (ANP) Sindh, Amin Khattak, passed away on Sunday here at a local hospital after suffering heart attack. Khattak was taken to Liaquat National Hospital at Sunday afternoon after he felt chest pain, said ANP Sindh Spokesman Qadir Khan. He said that chest pain turned to be a heart attack to the 60-year-old politician. He further said the ANP Sindh has announced three-day mourning. Sindh Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah expressed his deep sorrow on the demise of Khattak and paid rich tribute to him over his services for the restoration of democratic process in the country.
