PESHAWAR : A key commander of Tehreek-e-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) was apprehended Friday during a raid carried out by security forces in district Bannu. Official sources said the security forces conducted an intelligence-based operation at Naurang village and arrested a militant commander identified as Rasool Khan.
The security forces also recovered 100 computerised national identity cards (CNICs), three fake passports and heavy weapons from his possession. Terrorist Rasool Khan was involved in various terror activities in Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and Federally Administered Tribal Areas (FATA), the officials concluded.
