OUR STAFF REPORTER VEHARI - Three criminal gangs wanted in cases of robbery, theft and snatching have been busted, police claimed on Saturday. Newsmen were told by SP (Investigations) Rana Shujaat that motorbikes, ornaments, cash and other valuables were recovered from the three gangs - Sadheer, Sajid Langrayal and Aslam gangs. Ringleader of the Aslam gang, namely Aslam, is a proclaimed offender involved in over a dozen murder and dacoity cases. At the same media briefing, DPO Syed Ali Nasir Rizvi said that a comprehensive security plan had been evolved for Eidul Azha. He said that security had been heightened in and around markets, recreational parks, zoo, hospitals, bus terminals and railway stations. Vehari Press Club President Sheikh Khalid Masood, Traders Alliance President Mian Sajid Asif, DSP Traffic Raja Shahid Nazeer, SHOs concerned were present at the briefing.
