Vintage car rally sets off for Lahore today

BAHAWALPUR - The antique car rally reached here from Karachi the other night which will now leave in the afternoon on Wednesday (today).
Vintage and Classic Car club of Pakistan president Mohsin Ikram told The Nation that lots of antique and old cars would join the rally from Lahore which would conclude in Peshawar.
The models of the car in the rally are from 1929 to 1981. Cars of Ford, Mini Rover, Chevrolet, Impala, Jaguar, Istan Helay, Mga, Mercedes and Mini Cooper are taking part in the event.
He said that the purpose of the rally was to give the message to the rest of the world that Pakistan was a peaceful country. He further said that more cars would join the convoy from Multan, Lahore and Islamabad as well.
