KARACHI: Two suspects have been arrested in injured condition during a police encounter within the Soldier Bazaar police jurisdiction.

According to police on a tip off that two motorcyclists were waylaying and looting the citizens at gunpoint in Soldier Bazaar area, they reached the scene. . The accused persons opened fire on them as soon as they reached the spot. . Two among the suspects were injured in retaliatory firing from police.

The police claimed to have recovered the motorcycle, cell phones and weapons from the suspects’ possession.

Meanwhile, an unidentified person was killed by the firing of unknown assailant in Manghopir police jurisdiction. The police have registered case and started investigation.
