Welfare scheme to improve living standard of people: PM

ISLAMABAD: Prime Minister Mohammad Nawaz Sharif has said that the development and welfare schemes of the government are aimed at improving the standard of living of the people. The purpose of our endeavours is the socio-economic uplift of the people and to make Pakistan a developed and prosperous country where equal opportunities are available to all, the Prime Minister stated.

The Prime Minister said this during meeting with Rana Mahmood ul Hasan, MPA at PM House today.

The Prime Minister said that the people’s representatives should maintain an active liaison with the people of their constituencies to be apprised on their issues and also to have feedback on the ongoing developmental schemes in their respective areas.

Rana Mahmood ul Hasan appreciated the leadership role of the Prime Minister in taking the country out of multiple challenges in difficult times. He said that the present government has successfully turned around Pakistan’s economy and has initiated mega infrastructure development projects across the country.

‘The overall security situation of the country has improved significantly during the present government. We are confident that under your dynamic leadership, Pakistan will transform into a truly vibrant, democratic modern state’, said the MPA.
