MARDAN – Tough competition is expected on NA-9 Mardan-I as 28 candidates including former Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti have filed papers for NA-9 seat. The other candidates who had submitted nomination papers and will contest election against Haider Hoti are Shazia Auranzeb of PPP, Maulana Shujaul Mulak of JUI-F, Attaur Rehman of JI, Khwaja Mohammad Khan Hoti of PML-N, Nasir Khan of PTI. All the candidate belonging to the main political parties are claiming that they will win the upcoming election on NA-9. Real contest is expected among former Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti, Khwaji Hoti of PML-N, Shazia Auranzeb of PPP, Maulan Shujaul Mulak of JUI-F. however former Chief Minister Ameer Haider Khan Hoti position is strong because his party has large numbers of vote bank in this constituency and he has also done a large numbers of developmental works including Abdul Wali Khan university, Bacha Khan Medical College, Ameer Mohammad Khan agriculture university, reconstruction of District Headquarter (DHQ) hospital, Mega Park, Ring road, Children hospital, Risqué 1122 and others during in his five years government and neural and educated people of the constituency has also decided to give him vote and elect him for the nest period so that he may complete those projects which remained incomplete.This news was published in The Nation newspaper.
