ISLAMABAD - Indian High Commissions diplomats on Sunday held a meeting with Muttahida Qaumi Movement Senator Tahir Mashadi and discussed with him the current political changes in the restive port city of Karachi in the light of the MQM-PPP agreement on bringing about major administrative changes. Diplomatic sources informed TheNation that Indian High Commissions diplomats Suhel Aejaz Khan and B. S. Pardhan called on Tahir Mashadi at Parliament Lodges and remained with him for quite sometime. Sources aware of the development informed that Indian diplomats wanted to have the MQM input on the recent changes in the administrative set-up in Karachi and the impact of the reversion back to the District Government system in two key cities of Sindh - Karachi and Hyderabad - on the overall law and order situation in the port city, which was witnessing the worst sort of target killings.
