GUJRAT - The University of Gujrat (UoG) declared the results of BA/BSc/BCom part-I and part-II annual examinations-2012.
According to UoG Controller (examinations) Prof Maqsood Akhter, in BA examination, Sidra Rafeeq Roll No-213,234, from Gujranwala topped with 606 marks and Muqadas Zaka Roll No-214,187 from Gujrat got second position by scoring 590 marks Similarly, Farzan Kausar Roll No-213,744, from Gujranwala grabbed third position with 589 marks. Overall passing percentage of BA examination remained 40.38 percent. In BSc examination, Aqsa Noureen Roll No-210,260 from Ibn-e-Imam College Jalalpur Jattan topped by obtaining 678 marks and Beenish Khadim from Peace College Rawalpindi got second position with 630 marks. Similarly Aisha Ashraf from Fatima Jinnah College Gujrat clinched third position with 625 marks out of a total 800 marks.
In BCom examination, Tehreem Anees Roll No-202,246 outshined by obtaining 1147 marks and Aisha Siddiq Roll No-202,242 got second position. Both students are from Indus College of Commerce Rawalpindi. Similarly, Javairia Rasheed Roll No-2,202,432, from Ibn-e-Imam Science College Jalalpur Jattan grabbed third position with 1092 marks. The passing percentage of BCom examination remained 27.29 per cent.

Meanwhile, UoG VC Dr Nizam Uddin congratulated all the position-holding students and their parents.
UoG Additional Controller (examinations) Jameel Ahmed Turk said that result cards of the regular candidates had already been dispatched to their relevant colleges, whereas the result cards of the private candidates were dispatched at their given addresses. He also announced the schedule for supplementary examination. The last date for the submission of admission forms with single fee is August 17, 2012. Admission forms are available at the branches of The Bank of Punjab.
