Islamabad- Member National Assembly,Sheikh Rasheed Ahmed, said on Friday that he hoped that Imran Khan and Dr Tahirul Qadri will soon converge on a single point – which is to dislodge the current government.
Talking to media outside the Parliament House, he criticized government’s tactics against political workers, especially against Dr Tahirul Qadri. Referring to government’s decision to call a national security meeting tomorrow, Rasheed asked: “By inviting army generals in the meeting what message government is trying to convey to the politicians.” He reiterated that the whole nation is with the Pakistan Army. Sheikh Rasheed said that he has heard that a phone call was made from the Prime Minister House to Imran Khan. Shiekh added that he will meet Khan later today and will subsequently address a press conference at 6.00 pm this evening.
