NASEERABAD - Miscreants blew up three power pylons in Naseerabad district of Balochistan on Saturday. Police said power pylons of 200 KV were blown up with explosive material near Chattar area of the district.
Sources in the National Transmission and Dispatch Company said power crisis in Balochistan had worsened as only 150-200 megawatt electricity was available against the province's demand of 1,650 megawatt. Provincial authorities said that load shedding was likely to increase in Balochistan due to power crisis.
RAILWAY TRACK IN DAMBOLI BLOWN UP
Unidentified miscreants on Saturday morning blew up the railway track with a blast in Damboli area of Balochistan.
Damboli is an area of Balochistan located near Bakhtiarabad, district Bolan. After the bomb blast, around two foot portion of the railway track was destroyed completely causing suspension of train service. However, no casualty was reported.
Rawalpindi-bound Jaffar Express, Akbar Bugti Express and Karachi-bound Bolan Mail scheduled to be routed from the track were stopped on the stations nearby. As a result, the passengers suffered many difficulties.
Security forces and Levies officials cordoned off the area soon after the blast and started the search operation to hunt the criminals.
