RAWALPINDI- Chief of Army Staff General Raheel Sharif visited Corps Headquarters Peshawar today.

During his meeting with Corps Commander, the army chief reviewed progress of ongoing operations Zarb-e Azb and Khyber-One and preparations for effective implementation of National Action Plan.

Later, Raheel Sharif and Begum Raheel Sharif joined Quran Khawani for the shuhada of Army Public School Peshawar. While expressing solidarity with the bereaved families, the army chief paid glowing tributes to Shuhada and wounded for their great sacrifices for the motherland.

General Raheel Sharif reiterated that entire nation and Armed Forces of Pakistan stand firmly behind the affected families in this hour of distress.
