ISLAMABAD (APP) - Chief Justice Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry took suo moto notice on an appeal of Ghulam Hussain Rizvi and other residents of Faisalabad which published in a section of print media. It was requested in the appeal that a minor girl of only three years was subjected to rape and brutally murdered by the vagabonds of locality, says a Press release issued here Monday. They further stated that the culprits are still at large. They requested for justice. Taking the notice, the CJP passed the order that Report be called from PPO, Punjab within one week. Meanwhile, the Chief Justice took another suo moto notice on an application of Gulzar Khan R/o Sargodha stating therein that his minor son has been kidnapped for ransom. He further stated that FIR has been lodged but the police neither arrested the accused nor recovered his son. He prayed for the justice. Taking the notice CJP passed the order that Let PPO effect recovery of minor and produce him before Sessions Judge Sargodha on 13-06-10. Put up on 15-06-10 with report of Sessions Judge.
