MULTAN - Special Assistant to the Punjab Chief Minister, Rao Aneesur Rehman has said that if President Zardari brings looted national money back from Swiss banks, the loadshedding shall end within one day.
Addressing a news conference held here at his tent office outside Raza Hall on Thursday, he added that people at the helm of affairs in the Centre had inflated their bank accounts instead of making payments to power production companies. He warned the Chief Minister and other members of provincial government would stage a sit-in on the roads after budget if injustice being done with Punjab in power distribution was not stopped.
He alleged that the PPP government did not resolve loadshedding issue for the sake of kickbacks and rental power projects were a proof of this claim. He said that the Chief Minister Punjab preferred to sit under tents instead of sitting in air-conditioned offices to express solidarity with the masses. “This act of Shahbaz Sharif has disseminated a very positive message to the masses that a Chief Minister on the side of common citizens,” he added.
Answering a question, he said that five marla plots were allotted to the deserving, poor and homeless citizens through transparent ballot. Later on, he visited the heirs of Muhammad Ajmal, who committed suicide by jumping from flyover, and assured them that strict action would be taken against the persons responsible for this tragedy.
BZU CHANGES PATTERN OF QUESTION PAPERS: The Bahauddin Zakariya University Multan has changed the pattern of question papers of BCom.
A notification issued by the Controller of Examination, BZU declared on Thursday that the pattern was changed, asking all candidates taking part in BCom Part-1 & 11, First Annual Examination, 2012 to contact their educational institutions to get new pattern.
