KARACHI: A delegation of Pakistan Peoples Party, South Punjab called on Chairman PPP Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to apprise him about the political situation in South Punjab at Bilawal House today.

The delegation was led by PPP South Punjab President Makhdoom Ahmed Mehmood, MNA Mustafa Mehmood and Abdul Qadir Shaheen.Political Secratory to Chairman and Member PPP Central Executive Commetti Jameel Soomro also present on the occasion.

PPP delegation invited the Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari to address a public meeting in Rahim Yar Khan as people of the area were eagerly waiting to hear him on the international, national and local issues of the South Punjab.

Earlier, the PPP leaders briefed the Chairman about the political situation in the aftermath of the recently-held local government elections including the victimization of the elected councilors of the Party at the hands of Punjab government.

PPP Chairman assured the delegation that he will visit South Punjab soon and will address the public meeting at Raheem Yar Khan.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari said that people of Punjab have always stood for the PPP in all the general elections held without rigging and he was sure that they will again elect the PPP whenever transparent and fair elections are held in the country.
