PESHAWAR Expressing grief and sorrow over the killing of four police personnel in Mansehra Police Station attack, spokesman of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Mian Iftikhar Hussain said that soon search operation would be launched in Provincially Administered Tribal Area of Kala Dhaka. No military operation would be launched in the area, however, police forces and Frontier Constabulary would be assigned the duty of only search operation to wipe out suspected militants from these peaceful parts of Hazara, Mian iftikhar Hussain remarked while briefing journalists regarding the law and order situation of Manshera where four police personnel identified as Naeem, Naeem, Mushtaq and Zahid were killed in firing incident of terrorists. He said that the tragic attack in Mansehra Police Station had proved that terrorists were extending their activities to peaceful parts of the province but they would not be allowed to deteriorate the law and order situation in Manshera and any other district of Hazara. He said that a representative jirga of the people of PATA also held a meeting with Chief Minister Amir Haider Khan Hoti and demanded development package for their areas. He said that chief minister had assured their full support to tribal elders and said that soon development packages would be announced for the people of the backward areas. He mentioned that before launching any development project in the area, peace was a must for that very part and for the purpose government would take all possible steps to maintain law and order situation in Kala Dhaka. He said that after peace and tranquility in the area it would be the first priority of the government to provide electricity and clean drinking water to the people of Kala Dhaka. He added that a major terrorist plot had been foiled in Peshawar a day earlier as police had apprehended two suicide bombers in university town Peshawar. He said before launching search operation in Kala Dhaka, the elders of the area would be taken in confidence. To, a question regarding the establishment of district in PATA, he said that if the people of the area demanded a separate district then it would be considered at proper time. To another question regarding the dialogue process with the activists of Hazara action committee, he said that dialogue was the only solution of the issue and all of their genuine demands would be meted through democratic and constitutional way. When asked about any contacts of US government with the government of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa regarding Faisal Shehzad and his family, he said that the matter would be tackled through the federal government and Interior Ministry and they had already briefed the media about the matter. He said that any one who was guilty and allegation proved against them then he must be given exemplary punishment, however, he mentioned that it would be proved after detailed investigation that what were the real circumstances in the case of Faisal Shehzad.
