Lakki needs cadet college

LAKKI MARWAT - Qaumi Watan Party Lakki General Secretary Imranullah Marwat has called upon the MPs and local politicians to accelerate their efforts for setting up a cadet college and varsity in the district.
Talking to journalists here on Thursday, he said that the youths and students lacked higher education and research related facilities at local level. "Both projects have become the matter of life and death for people as their establishment will usher a new era of development and prosperity in the backward district," he maintained.
The QWP leader said that local politicians especially elected representatives should bury their differences for the uplift of district. He said that MNA Col (retired) Ameerullah of PTI and MPAs Munawar Khan, Anwar Hayat and Malik Noor Salim of JUI-F should initiate concerted efforts to ensure launching work on cadet college and varsity projects. He told that political rivalry among local politicians always hindered the uplift of district therefore all political elite should come on the same table with the aim to work for the welfare and betterment of people.
