ISLAMABAD - PTI leaders Shah Mehmood Qureshi and Arif Alvi met Opposition leader Khurshid Shah on Wednesday and extended invitation to PPP to join September 24, Raiwind march.

Opposition leader sought time from them for further consultations on this matter.

During the meeting both the sides considered to evolve the joint strategy following the rejection of reference against Prime Minister Nawaz Sharif.

Shah Mehmood Qureshi said that Speaker National Assembly has tried to stifle our voice by rejecting reference against PM and sending reference in respect of Imran Khan to election commission.

Speaker has demonstrated partiality by giving such decision, he added.

Both Opposition leader in NA and PTI leaders agreed on summoning Opposition parties meeting ahead of commencement of NA session on Thursday.
