Musharraf to be shifted to PNS Shifa Karachi

KARACHI/ISLAMABAD- Former President Pervez Musharraf will be shifted to Karachi to get better medical facilities.

According to sources, to this effect unprecedented security measures are being taken at PNS Shifa Hospital for the treatment of the former President. Sources said that repairs and cleanliness of the CCU had been completed, where Musharraf was likely to be kept. No one was allowed to go near it. A medical board had also been constituted for the treatment of Musharraf. Sources told Musharraf was facing grave threats in Islamabad and Rawalpindi that is why he had chosen Karachi for his treatment. Sources said government is also considering shifting the former president to Karachi. Musharraf is likely to be shifted to Karachi in a few days, sources told.
