Legal notice served on Qadri

Lahore : Former secretary of Lahore High Court Bar Association Rana Asadullah Khan has served a legal notice on Pakistan Awami Tehreek chief Dr Tahirul Qadri on charges of levelling false allegations against him. Asadullah Khan in his notice had said that he had never been a legal adviser of Parks and Horticulture Authority. He also denied he had been legal adviser to government against Rs 1 million per month salary.

Asad said he was working as legal adviser for TDCP against salary of Rs 40,000 per month. He warned Dr Qadri of legal proceedings if he did not tender apology. He further warned that a court of law would also be moved for damages of Rs 1 billion if Dr Qadri failed to apologise for levelling false allegations.
Advocate Asadullah Khan is younger brother of Punjab Law Minister Rana Mashhood Ahmad Khan.
