Quetta blast: 29 critically injured victims shifted to Karachi

QUETTA: A special Pakistan Air Force (PAF) air ambulance on the instruction of Air Chief Marshal Suhail Aman shifted at least 29 victims of Quetta Civil Hospital, suicide bombing from Quetta to Karachi.

A PAF C130 aircraft carrying 29 injured people, including 14-year-old girl named Parveen, landed at the Faisal Air Base in Karachi on Monday night from where they were shifted to PNS Shifa and Agha Khan Hospital on ambulances under tight security.

At least 70 people including lawyers and media men were killed and over 100 were injured in a suicide blast at the Civil Hospital in Quetta, on Monday morning.

Many of the dead were lawyers and journalists who had earlier gathered to cover a protest over the murder of Balochistan Bar Association president Bilal Anwar Kasi.
