Opp to move NA to discuss Havelian tragedy

ISLAMABAD - Opposition parties will soon submit adjournment motions to National Assembly (NA) Secretariat demanding the government to discuss the sad incident of the recent plane crash that claimed 47 lives.

PIA PK-661 plane carrying 47 people from Chitral airport crashed into the mountainous region in Havelian killing all passenger onboard.

Main opposition parties including the Pakistan People’s Party, the Muttahida Qaumi Movement and the Jamaat-e-Islami (JI) will submit adjournment motion to the NA secretariat seeking a detailed discussion on the plane crash. Opposition parties’ lawmakers said they will ask the government to share the complete maintenance report of all the functional planes.
