Peshawar- Inspector General, KPK, Nasir Durrani claimed that cross border infiltration from Afghanistan was causing security problems in Pakistan.

A top police official of KPK said that the terrorists who were involved in severe crimes such as bomb blast, extortion, kidnapping for ransom and drug trafficking; have safe sanctuaries across the border.

According to Durrnai, there are some reports which suggest that the Kabul government is supporting these criminals to conduct terrorist activities inside the country.

The Inspector General (IG) KPK believed the militants from Afghanistan carryout extortion and bank robberies to collect funds for their activities, adding that several were arrested.
