MAILSI - Assistant commissioner Asghar Majeed Baloch said that his department had assigned 100 per cent recovery target to revenue officers which had successfully been achieved. Talking to the journalists, Baloch said that in the month of May, the department had recovered Rs10.3 million in the head of Abiyana agriculture income tax. The total percentage of recovery in May was 77 per cent which was itself a record in the history of Tehsil Mailsi. He also mentioned that in June 2011 they will recover 100 per cent and had started a campaign against all defaulters. He assigned the target to revenue officers to recover all Abiyaana dues. He also said that they have recovered 77pc in head of tawan and 58 per cent in Zarai income tax so far. He appealed to farmers and all other people who were defaulters, to submit their outstanding dues as early as possible otherwise action would be taken against them as per the law.
