Headmasters refuse to conduct matric exams

LAKKI MARWAT - The headmasters of state-run schools of the district have refused to perform duties for the matric exams commencing from Mar 13 under the Board of Intermediate and Secondary Education Bannu.
The decision to this effect was taken at an emergency meeting of All Headmasters Association here on Friday.
President of the Association Pir Ghulam presided over the meeting.
On the occasion, speakers condemned the BISE Bannu authorities for ignoring the headmasters of Lakki district in SSC exam duties.
They showed their anger and resentment over appointment of a small number of head masters from Lakki Marwat district as superintendent for matriculation examination.
“The association has decided in principles that no headmaster will perform SSC exam duty nor will relieve teachers of their respective schools for performing duty as invigilator or deputy superintendent in the examination”, they maintained.
They warned that they would launch a struggle for affiliation of government high and higher secondary schools of the district with BISE DI Khan if authorities concerned did not pay heed to address their genuine complaints and grievances.
Among others Pir Ghulam, Saifullah Khan, Sanaullah Khan, Abdul Akbar Khan, Ameer Nawaz, Samiullah Khan and Iqbal Khan spoke at the meeting.
