KARACHI: The local Court today remanded arrested Indian intelligence agency RAW agent Saddam Jatoi, in police custody for two more days.

The hearing of the case was conducted in Judicial Magistrate West Karachi’s court.

Joint Investigation Team (JIT) submitted its report in the court, in which it was stated that the accused has confessed of being a RAW agent and also has ties with personnel of intelligence agencies.

The report also reveals that the suspect took pictures of Kemari, Fisheries, Coast Guard, Dalmia, Karsaz, Faisal and Mehran Base which were sent to Indian intelligence agency.

Investigation officer told the court that more interrogation needs to be done with the suspect, therefore additional remand should be granted.

The court after hearing the arguments and reviewing the report approved two-day remand. The suspect was arrested by law enforcement agencies last month from Kemari area.
