OKARA - Pakistan People’s Party Central Leader and former MPA Mohammad Arif Chaudhry has said the PPP will form the next Punjab government by defeating the PML-N with the support of the masses.
He was talking to media here the other day.  He said that the party workers welcomed Manzoor Wattoo warmly while the opposition was confused about his nomination as the PPP Punjab President.
“The way the people of Lahore gave reception to PPP Punjab President Manzoor Wattoo and other party leaders are vivid proof that Lahore is the fort of PPP,” he claimed. While criticizing the Punjab government, he said that the provincial government had spent Rs70 billion on one road and had completely ignored the destroyed road network across the province.
He said that it was the responsibility of the provincial government to look after health, transport and education systems , but it seemed that every department had to be overhauled after failing on several occasions.
The former MPA said that the PPP was the only party which had sacrificed lives for democracy. He said the PPP was the only representative party of workers and labour class in the country.
