4 killed in Balochistan firing, blast



QUETTA - Two people were shot dead in Quetta and Kharan towns during two separate incidents of firing, on Thursday.
In the first incident, unidentified armed men opened fire on a person at Munir Mengal Road of Quetta and seriously wounded Daud Khan who later succumbed to his injuries on the way to hospital. The attackers fled from the scene after committing the crime.
In the second incident, a person was shot dead in Kharan town. The victim was identified as Habibullah.
Police said that deceased was targeted near vegetable market of Kharan.
Police said that motive behind both murders is yet to be known while investigations were underway.
Meanwhile, two people were killed in blast in Kalat district, some 160 kilometers southeast of Quetta, on Thursday.
According to sources, the blast occurred near a grid station in Surab in a house due to which two people were killed.
“The blast was so powerful that damaged two houses,” sources said ,adding, that the bodies were moved to hospital.
However, names of the injured could not be confirmed. However, when contacted the official sources did not confirm the incident.
