Indian yatrees satisfied with security, arrangements

ATTOCK - Visiting Indian Sikh yatrees who have come to Gurdwara Siri Punja sahib Hassanabdal for the birthday celebrations of Baba Guru Nank, have expressed satisfaction over the arrangements made by the Pakistani government.
Leader of Indian Sikh Gurdwara Parbhandak Committee which include Harjaab Singh, Bilor Singh, and Swaran Singh while talking to newsmen said that the Pakistani govt had kept their religious places well maintained and spent millions of rupees every year on its renovation. They said that at Nankana Sahib a grand hostel, having capacity for five thousand yatrees was under construction at the cost of millions of rupees which reflected the Pakistani government’s commitment towards care for minorities and their religious sites. The Sikh leaders said that they were enjoying full religious freedom here in Pakistan and feeling secure as foolproof security was being provided to them.
Meanwhile an Indian Sikh yatree Malkiat Singh died of cardiac arrest. His dead body was later despatched to India.
