2 MQM workers jailed for possessing explosives, arms

Karachi: A local anti-terrorism court (ATC) today sentenced Muttahida Qaumi Movement (MQM) worker to 14 years imprisonment in a case of explosives substance and illegal arms.

Naseem-ul-Ghani was awarded a 14-year jail term, while co-accused in the case, Adnan, was sentenced to seven years imprisonment, after they were found guilty of possessing explosive material and illegal arms. Investigation officer said Ghani was arrested in 2013 within limits of Preedy police station in Karachi.
